    Description

The All New Alpine Racing TRX can’t come soon enough.

For the first time in history, Alpine F1 Team has co-developed a commercial racing simulator that can be used by fans and professional drivers at home. It’s called the Alpine Racing TRX and it’s presented by Trak Racer.

“I really enjoyed the Trak Racer, Alpine Racing TRX. It’s a very useful tool for preparing for Grand Prix’s. It has everything we need as professional racing drivers and I would like one of my own!”

    Esteban Ocon

    Driver I Alpine F1 Team

A SEATING POSITION FOR MOST MOTORSPORT DICIPLINES

The Alpine Racing TRX has been designed to meet the demands of all professional motorsport drivers from GT to Formula; and everything in between. By adjusting the height and angle of the pedal tray, wheel mount and seat, you’ll be able to find the most accurate position for each style of motorsport whether you’re a professional driver or aspiring to be one!

    gif

    The Benefits

The unique selling point of the Alpine Racing TRX is that it was co-designed by Alpine F1 Team Engineers; so it’s as close as you can get to the real thing, at home. In Formula position you’re able to experience the same seating as in the "real car".

    The Seat

The clever design of the seat lets it act as two-in-one. Tilt it back and add the headrest for Formula position and adjust it up for GT seating position. The aesthetics of the seat follow the same design cues as Alpine’s A521.

    The Pedal Tray*

Raise and angle the pre-drilled pedal plate for Formula to GT pedal positioning. The quick adjustment allows you to do all this in minutes so your pit-stop times will be kept to a minimum.

    The Frame

The Alpine Racing TRX's 2" Steel Construction will ensure stable Game Play with Direct Drive Wheels and more. The Dual Tube running up to Wheel Mount will ensure you have more strength than what you will need.

    The Seat Bracket*

Complete adjustability is the advantage of the Alpine Racing TRX’s seat assembly. Equipped with a slider, the clever design lets you adjust the seat height and angle to suit your desired seating position.

    The Wheel Mount*

This part is cool, also patented for being so clever, the wheel mount allows quick adjustment of the height and distance as well as the angle.

    The Warranty

Jump in the driver’s seat of the Alpine Racing TRX with the confidence of a 5-Year frame warranty from Trak Racer. Although, as we use the best materials and skilled craftsmanship, we are confident we won't hear from you!

Trak Racer is the Official Simulator Supplier of Alpine F1 Team and Airbus Aircraft.

    Strengthened Pedal Plate

The Alpine Racing TRX has been improved to withstand up to 180kgs of braking for force without flex. We have also added pre-drilled mounting points for more new pedal sets on the market and the slide function on the Alpine Racing TRX remains - so you can get those pedals exactly where you need them!

Trak Racer Direct Drive Wheelbase, Wheel and Pedals not included.

    THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY

The Alpine Racing TRX is available with 3 different wheel mounting options to suit a majority of steering wheel bases on the market including Direct Drive Systems from Trak Racer, Simucube, Fanatec, VRS and more; as well as belt-driven Wheel Bases from Logitech and Thrustmaster.

The tool-free wheel deck on the Alpine Racing TRX has slide, height and angle adjustment and can move between Formula and GT Driving position faster and more sleek than any other cockpit on the market.

    THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY

The Flex-Free Pedal Plate Assembly on the Alpine Racing TRX has been engineered for quick adjustment forwards and backwards by use of a sliding mechanism and also has height and angle adjustment. With the clever tool-free pedal system it allows professional drivers and hobbyists quick adjustment between raised Formula pedals, low and angled for GT alongside inverted pedal mounting.

    THE SEAT ASSEMBLY

Smart drivers need smart seats and gone are the days when you needed tools and 10 or more minutes to adjust a seats height and angle. The intelligent Alpine Racing TRX seat assembly; designed in conjunction with Alpine F1 Team Engineers provides tool-free seat changes in under 10 seconds.

Trak Racer has developed a seat with feedback from ergonomic specialists to develop identical adjustment settings that place the driver into the best possible position. This will not only improve comfort, but also the long-term health of the driver.

Trak Racer Direct Drive Wheelbase, GT Wheel, Pedals, Shifter and Handbrake not included.

“It really makes you feel like you are in there, driving. We tried to make the seating position as close to Formula One, as possible; while it still has the bucket shape to hold you in. Anyone can fit in .”

Good product. Pros (many) and cons (some) of the Alpine TRX

The Alpine TRX cockpit is a good product, solid, rigid… I mounted the cockpit on top of the TR Move Universal platform with four D-BOX GEN 5 4250i actuators (this is an expensive product, but if you can afford it, it's well worth it). The cockpit shows no flexing issues, despite other users' comments about this problem (perhaps it's a matter of configuring and tightening the screws correctly).

To detail some other problems I've encountered: in my case, being 1.67 cm tall, it was difficult and complex to correctly configure the seat and steering wheel position on my MOZA R21 base with the MOZA CRP pedal distance (in GT mode). Despite moving the seat and pedals as close as possible, I couldn't reach them with my feet: the steering wheel was too high and very close to my body, almost in front of my face, making it difficult to fully extend my arms. This made driving uncomfortable. The solution I found was to replace the TRX-NWM6 base platform with the TR-ONE TR80-NWM5 platform (which is the one I recommend). Thanks to this change, I was able to push the steering wheel back a little further, move the seat a little further forward, and thus be able to reach the pedals more easily and extend my arms to the correct position.

A second problem I encountered was adapting the Alpine TRX cockpit to the motion platform. The motion platform manual is confusing, not very detailed, and also contains some errors and inaccuracies. I had to figure out how to properly screw together some parts…

Alpine TRX Flexibility and Lack of Rigidity Issues?

There are positive reviews about the Alpine TRX online, but there are also negative ones. The most negative aspect is that it has flexing issues, especially in the pedal support, meaning it lacks rigidity and the support moves when you press the pedals because the vertical supports that hold the pedal platform are very thin. Is this true? Is this problem solved in the 2025 shipments? Apparently, a second flexing issue also exists in the seat support, for the same reason: the vertical metal supports that hold the seat platform are very thin. And finally, flexing issues also exist in the shifter support. In this case, because it doesn't fit properly with the cockpit tube. I've already ordered an Alpine TRX, but I wouldn't want to encounter these problems. TRAK RACER should correct these problems in a high-end cockpit as soon as possible if it wants to preserve its good reputation.

Traditionally we haven't had too many reports of these issues, we are releasing an upgrade kit for the older TRX model that is now standard for our brand new release. If anything, these issues would be resolved through this if they were to come about.

The best-looking sim rig in the world

Absolutely beautiful in Alpine Blue, great build quality. The ability to switch between GT and formula seating in a couple of minutes is so great. Ever so slightly less rigid than an aluminium profile rig, but this is only really felt during heavy steering oscillation, and the modularity and looks make it more than worth it over an aluminium profile rig.
